These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Itineterry, a travel-itinerary
planner available as a web app and an Android app, including the web service at
itineterry.terrytory.synology.me (together, the "Service"). Please read
them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we
handle your information.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
Itineterry is operated by Terry Pedley, an individual developer (sole proprietor) based in Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at terrytoriallabs@gmail.com.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the Service or other users at risk.
The Service offers optional AI-assisted features, such as extracting booking details from text you paste ("smart import"). When you use these features, the text you submit is processed by a third-party AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate — always review and verify AI-extracted details (dates, times, confirmation numbers, locations) against your original booking before relying on them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your itineraries.
Itineterry helps you organize travel plans; it is a planning tool, not a travel agency or booking service. We do not sell flights, accommodations, tours, or other travel products, and we are not a party to any arrangement between you and a travel provider. The Service may show information from third-party sources (for example place, map, and flight-schedule lookups). That information is provided "as is" and may not always be accurate, complete, or current; verify anything important directly with the relevant provider.
The Service is self-hosted and offered on a best-effort basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Some features may be offered as testing or "beta" and may be less reliable. We are not responsible for any loss arising from downtime, changes, or discontinuation, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service running and to protect your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information it provides (including AI output and third-party data) is accurate or reliable. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Itineterry and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, bookings, or travel arrangements, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Itineterry and its operator from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licenses you granted, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
